Plastic Waste Management Workshop with Precious Plastic Bangkok
23rd August 2024 – Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Leasing & Service (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in a workshop organized by Precious Plastic Bangkok, which focused on raising awareness on the impact of improper plastic waste management and promoting sustainable recycling practices, and donated over 6,000 plastic bottle caps to Precious Plastic Bangkok for recycling and supporting the community.
The workshop, held at Precious Plastic Bangkok’s recycling center, provided valuable insights into the pressing issue of plastic waste. The session emphasized the critical need for effective plastic waste management and introduced participants to practical recycling methods. Precious Plastic Bangkok showcased their recycling machines and demonstrated how recycled plastic can be transformed into useful products.
During the event, each participant created their own personalized key chain from recycled plastic, gaining a deeper appreciation for the potential of recycled materials.
